My family recently visited your quiet city to visit my grandfather. I took a few photos that I thought you may want to add to your site. We visited the nearby Petroglyphics and the Ocatgon Barn. I was trying to find some history on your town clock. Thank you!
There are many Marks in the area but i've never heard of the famous Marx brothers being from the area.
Message From Mac. The Bad Axe Historical Society has no information linking the Marx Brothers to Bad Axe. The Marxs Brothers website www.marx-brothers.org/biography/locations.htm show the upper east side of New York City, the Chicago area and, finally, Hollywood, CA as home locations for the Marxs Brothers.
I am trying to get some local grass-roots movements going for organic agriculture, community sharing/freecycling, buy local awareness, and more.
